FAQ
-
What types of therapy do you offer?
We offer a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to individual needs, including trauma-informed therapies, support for neurodivergence, and help building happy and healthy relationships. Some examples would be Cognitive Processing Therapy, Relational Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. Ultimately, your therapist will be committed to providing a safe space for you to explore and grow.
-
What can I expect from therapy?
In therapy, especially when focusing on trauma, neurodivergence, and building healthy relationships, you can expect a safe and supportive environment where you can freely express your thoughts and feelings. Initially, your therapist will work to understand your unique experiences and challenges, helping you to set personalized goals.
-
How long are therapy sessions, and how often will we meet?
Sessions typically last 50 minutes, and the frequency of meetings can vary based on your needs and goals. Many clients meet weekly or bi-weekly, but this can be adjusted over time.
-
Do you accept insurance?
Our practice operates on a self-pay model, which means we do not accept insurance. This allows us to maintain greater flexibility and focus on providing the highest levels of confidential, ethical, and personalized care. We offer competitive rates and can discuss payment options during your initial consultation.
-
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
We understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes you may need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. However, to ensure that we can provide timely care to all our clients, we have implemented a 24-hour cancellation policy.
-
What is the 24-hour cancellation fee?
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice. This allows us to offer that time slot to another client who may be waiting for an appointment. If you cancel or reschedule your session with less than 24 hours' notice, a cancellation fee will be charged. This fee is typically equivalent to the cost of a standard session.
